2008 Spring Drive
Drive the Mile 2008 - Sunday May 4th

Nine RX Club cars and their drivers met at the Pettit Ice Arena parking lit, early on May 4th for the few-blocks-long caravan to DRIVE THE MILWAUKEE MILE:
6 RX-7s
3 RX-8s

3 reds
2 yellows
1 purple
1 gray
1 black
1 white

The highlights:
A nice cool but sunny day for some leisurely laps on the Mile
A lotta cars showed up - but not as many as last year
A lotta food was collected - but not as much as last year
No Green Bay Packers were there - like last year
3 or 4 Dump Trucks did a couple laps - they let ANYthing drive the MILE!
Some absolutely beautiful vehicles showed up for the car show!

It was great to see and talk to RXC members again after the LONG, LONG winter. The RXs all were nice and shiny - somebody actually got his white car out of the garage for the first time in a few years - you know who you are!

Some talk was overheard about setting up a Sunday - June or July drive...keep an eye on the website for further details!
